This Duo was designed to maximize the bioavailability of our collagen. We recommend using both for optimal results. 

Use Morning and /or evening in conjunction with the Collagen Serum, and apply an equal amount to the face, neck, and even décolleté. Allow to penetrate for 1 minute.

1. The Collagen Activator 

The Collagen Activator contains Peptides and Hyaluronic Acid and prepares the skin for the absorption of the Collagen Serum while deeply hydrating. This powerful formulation beautifies the skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles for visibly younger-looking skin.

The Collagen Activator is a combination of peptides composed of short chains of amino acids, which are the basic structural units of collagen, and hyaluronic acid, which is one of the main components of the extracellular matrix which contributes to the proliferation of skin cells. Enriched with Vitamin C, Green Tea Extract, and Algae, it provides antioxidants and skin repair agents.

Key Ingredients:

Peptide Complex:

Small chains of amino acids that are the structural units of the base of collagen. This peptide complex strengthens the firmness and tone of the skin. It also contributes to the elimination of the original pigmentation of the blood responsible for the color of the dark circle and local inflammation of the area around the eye.

Hyaluronic Acid:

Forms a thin visco-elastic film, like that of the skin, which fixes moisture on the surface. Helps to preserve the main characteristics of young and healthy skin, such as softness, elasticity, and radiance. Supports the natural protective mechanism of the skin. Sodium ascorbyl phosphate (Vitamin C): 

Marguerite Skincare uses sodium ascorbyl phosphate, a more stable form of vitamin C. This form is transformed into vitamin C by enzymes present in the skin once it is absorbed. Form of vitamin C also considered to be less irritating than other forms of vitamin C and therefore more suitable for those with sensitive skin. Stimulates the synthesis of collagen (responsible for the firmness and elasticity of the skin). Also decreases the production of melanin (responsible for dark spots). Powerful antioxidant action. Green Tea Extract:

Naturally rich in antioxidants, stimulates the microcirculation of the skin; anti-inflammatory agent having mainly an action inhibiting collagenase (an enzyme reducing collagen which breaks down collagen). Helps promote health and the amount of collagen. Provides a protective effect from the sun.

Algae Extract:

Antioxidant Algae extract, rich in essential amino acids, proteins and vitamins of natural origin, including vitamins A, B, C and E.

2. The Collagen Serum

 Soluble Marine Collagen:

Marguerite Skincare uses a marine collagen very rich in amino acids but more particularly rich in Glycine, Proline and Hydroxyproline contributing to the regeneration cycle of collagen. Glycine is an important anti-aging amino acid. About a third of collagen is made up of glycine. Collagen is the essential protein needed to keep connective tissue and skin supple and firm. In the absence of glycine, damaged tissue cannot be repaired. Marine collagen peptides contribute to the activation of fibroblasts and accelerate the synthesis of collagen. They can have a profound effect on the biological regulation of the skin and have been shown to stimulate new collagen production. Collagen is made up of a network of fibers. With age, the production of collagen decreases causing wrinkles and loss of elasticity. With external aggressions, it is the structure of the collagen network that is attacked. To fight against the loss of firmness of the face, it is necessary to act at the same time on these two effects of aging: the reduction in the production of collagen and the destruction of the network of its fibers. Collagen is a fibrous glycoprotein whose role can be compared to a framework. Structuring agent allowing the collagen gel to obtain better stability. Of natural origin, Xanthane is composed of polymers of natural sugars produced by biotechnology: fermentation of beet sugar, cane or corn by bacteria Xanthomonnas campestris is not genetically modified.
